Airport lounge seating · a Model No. system
The pause in
every journey.
Sculptural, made-to-site seating — 3D-printed to your terminal’s exact curve, column, and footprint. Grown, not stamped.
Airports exhaust. The seat is the pause.
Between the gate and the next flight, people need somewhere to land. Sosta is that pause — a calm, sculptural place to sit, charge, and wait. And because every piece is 3D-printed, it’s grown to your terminal, not pulled from a catalog.
The system
One printed system. Endless terminals.
A modular seating and perch-counter system in Model No.’s 3D-printed wood-grain language — built to flow through lounges, gate holds, and concourses.
Power where you land
Solid-surface caps and dividers carry integrated power for phones and laptops — cords concealed, outlets within reach.
Serviceable by design
Segmented screens and components attach with clean aluminum caps. Any part can be swapped in the field if it’s damaged.
Sit, perch, charge
Angled printed backs, 18″ seats with removable cushions, and a standing-height perch counter — one language across every posture.
Configurations
A shape a catalog can’t make.
Curved, serpentine, or linear — the same modular system composes into landmarks a fixed catalog can’t reach.
Made to site
Printed to your curve.
Send us the radius, the column, the footprint. We print Sosta to fit it — not the other way around. Collaborative design-to-part means the geometry that ships is the geometry your space needs.
And because every part is a print file — not a warehouse of molds and tooling — there’s no discontinued line. Need one matching seat in year eight? We reprint it: exact match, any quantity, on demand.
- Your curve & footprint
- Wraps columns
- No tooling obsolescence
- Reprint on demand
No tooling. No discontinued lines. Reprint any part, any time — the file is the warranty.
Built for public life
Calm for travelers. Tough for terminals.
Designed for 24/7 use: durable printed forms, removable cushions that clean up or swap out, and integrated power at every seat. Raised dividers and solid-surface caps create dignified personal zones — structure that guides how a space is used without feeling like a barricade.
And when a part finally wears, it’s reprinted to match — no discontinued lines, no mismatched patch repairs, no replacing a whole zone of furniture that’s otherwise fine. A terminal stays cohesive across its entire 10-to-20-year life.
- Integrated power
- Removable cushions
- Personal-zone dividers
- Cohesive for 20 years
Sustainability, with receipts
Made to last — and to be remade.
Sosta is printed near-net-shape, so we add material where it’s needed instead of cutting it away. When a part wears, we reprint that part — not the whole run. Components are repairable and field-replaceable, the material is recyclable, and pieces are built to come back to us at end of life rather than head to a landfill. We’re documenting the numbers behind these claims now — ask our team for the current detail.
- Near-net-shape printing
- Reprint a part, not the run
- Recyclable material
- Take-back at end of life
Where it works
Airports first. Wherever people wait, next.
Built for airport lounges, gate holds, and concourses — and ready for the transit hubs, civic halls, and lobbies that share the same job: a calm place to pause.
A Model No. system
From the makers of Onda.
Sosta is built on Model No.’s 3D-printing platform — the same Fused Granulate Fabrication behind the Onda seating system. Designed and made in the USA, on demand, for the way public space actually gets used.
